Jerusalem Sandals was started in 2010 on the boardwalk of

Venice Beach California, well known for its artists, street

performers and funky atmosphere and then reached to the

back alleys of New York City, all the way to the fashion

capital of Milan and the hipster metropolitan cities of Japan.

Inspired by the sandal making heritage of the ancient land.

Handmade with natural leather east of Jerusalem.

with the finest materials that just get better with age and wear. You will not find two that are identical. They give you a look and feel unlike the mass produced brands. Our collection is a tribute to the original handcrafted footwear designs of the Biblical era. Our Vision

While the geo-political landscape continues to evolve, the principles, agents and advisory board of Jerusalem Sandals continue to be neutral in their position with respect to world affairs. However, consistent with our vision we believe that it is equally important to promote a message of peace in all corners of the earth. Furthermore, we believe that our name lends to our vision.

 

After all, Jeru (in Hebrew) translates to "teaching" and Salem (in Hebrew) translates to "peace".

 

What we’re most passionate about is the story behind our fashion brand.

While the collection is curated with the best materials and craftsmanship, it continues to be a testimonial of the human spirit. The line is hand crafted by Palestinians for commercial sale by an establishment with Jewish roots. Our sandal factory has been a leading manufacturer since 1973 where shoes are manufactured by hand with some use of assistance machines to complete the shoes as needed. Our factory uses only natural, genuine leather in the mission to meet the highest standard of quality.
